By blending transparent and opaque glass, I craft small, nature-inspired batches of cabochons. I sometimes incorporate reactive silver foil or dichroic glass, creating stunning, unpredictable effects. Each piece undergoes a meticulous process: the glass is fused in my kiln, broken into fragments, and refired—ensuring that every piece is truly one of a kind, with its own unique character and charm. I set these distinctive stones myself in silver and bronze, transforming them into into beautiful jewellery.

After seeing examples of Tracy's work in the Northamptonshire Open Studios exhibition, I commissioned her to make a similar styled ring in my size. It was great to find out more about her work and to discover that she makes her own glass 'stones'! I also took the opportunity to ask her for advice on what could be done with an old ring that kept losing its stone. As the stone could not be safely reset, Tracy offered to design, with my input, another ring using the stone. Both the resulting rings are beautiful and I couldn't be happier with them. But Tracy went above and beyond what we had agreed. Firstly she did some research into my ring, which had strong sentimental value and then she presented me with my old ring, cleaned and reset with a smaller stone!
