Custom Jewellery

The stones on this page are all handmade by me using combinations of transparent, opaque, reactive and dichroic glass fused in my kiln.  I use these stones (cabochons) when making my jewellery, alongside semi-precious stones and found objects.  I use solar energy and recycled silver whenever possible, making my pieces a little more sustainable.

I fuse in small batches, so no two batches or even stones are the same.  I have shown examples of how I have used these stones but you can choose a stone that I can make into a bespoke piece of your own.  If you are interested in anything here, please go to 'Get a Quote' at the bottom of this page and send me a message. I can give you a final price along with postage and any duty to be paid.  Some of my stones are also available in my Etsy shop.

Watermelon Collection

Layers of vivid pink, green and blue glass glow through one another, giving these summery cabochons the fresh, translucent feel of sliced watermelon.

Marble Collection

The reaction between silver leaf, blue glasses and vanilla glass produces unique, unrepeatable effects, making every stone an individual work of art.  These stones make beautiful statement jewellery.

Monochrome Collection

Using black glass as a base, layers of different white glasses are built up to create depth and contrast, resulting in cabochons reminiscent of agate or jasper.

Blue Opalesque Collection

These cabochons are made with opaque and dichroic glass.  They catch the light and have a beautiful rainbow shimmer, reminding me of opals.

Coastline Collection

These cabochons are made by fusing opaque and transparent glass in random layers, forming cabochons that I think look like an ariel view of coastlines.  Most have a high gloss finish, 6 and 7 have been tumbled for a matte finish.

Ice Collection

I love the classic simplicity of these dichroic glass cabochons.  Some have a rainbow shimmer, some pink or gold, all eye-catching.  I find they are very versatile and enhance any piece of jewellery. Pictures have been taken on silver sheet, so you may see a reflection.

Veridian Collection

Several shades of green opaque and transparent glass form these random bands alongside Aventurine glass which adds a little sparkle between some of the layers.

Pebble Collection

I wanted to celebrate the simple beauty of pebbles without removing them from the beach where they belong.  Once fired, these cabochons are tumbled for 24 hours to remove the gloss and give a more natural looking matte finish.

Aurora Collection

Transparent and dichroic glass are combined to create shifting colour and sparkle, reminding me of the Aurora Borealis, which we do sometimes see in the UK.
